Georgian College (Georgian) has one of the best track records for co-op placements in Ontario and most students find this to be a great way to fast track their career plans.

Graduates from Georgian programs are prepared for successful careers in accounting, human resources, advertising, marketing, general business, international business, office administration, aviation, and automotive or a combination of more than one area. Positions range from management trainee to division or general manager; area sales to sales management; personnel officer to personnel manager are just a few of the career routes traveled by Business, Automotive, and Aviation graduates.

Georgian scored above the Ontario college average in all categories in the 2009/2010 Key Performance Indicators (KPI) survey. Among the highlights, 87.1 percent of Georgian graduates in the labour force found work within six months of graduating

Co-op Education

Georgian College has three main campuses, all of which offer a fitness facility, resource centres, and a range of eateries.

The Barrie Campus is the largest of the main campuses. It offers a range of facilities for students, including a 525-bed residence; an expanded Student and Athletic Centre complete with two tournament-sized gyms, a huge fitness centre, café, lounge, and outdoor patio; and modern learning facilities at the Centre for Technology Enhanced Learning.

The Orillia Campus is situated in a small woodland setting at the south end of Orillia, and offers students a number of facilities including a 150-seat theatre, gym, fitness facility and pub.

The Owen Sound Campus offers a number of programs, and is the smallest of the three main campuses. The campus has library facilities, eateries, campus pubs, and organized events throughout the year.

Georgian also has four regional campuses (Collingwood, Muskoka, Midland and Orangeville).
